What is a model number and which one do I need?
The model number is an alphanumeric code designating both the model type and ligature size. Due to the vast number of mouthpieces available, we now manufacture 90 ligatures to best accommodate all players’ needs.

How many Rovner ligature models are manufactured?
Are there distinctive differences between the sounds of each ligature?
Rovner Products manufactures 7 different ligature models. The following is a list of our ligatures with a brief overview of some of the tonal characteristics one might experience. Please note that with each performer, these characteristics may differ. Players are encouraged to experiment. However, all Rovner Ligatures are designed to assist the player in maintaining proper intonation.
Dark - Warm, solid, open and centered, a darker sound.
Light - Airy, broad, open tone, somewhat brighter than the “Dark”.
Mk III - Similar to the “Dark”, but a more robust, heftier tone.
VERSA - Six different tones, big rich sound, exceptional control when playing full -bore fortissimo.
EVO-5 –(Discontinued) superseeded by the new StarSeries model ligature
The Evo-5
Provides extraordinary playing response while maintaining outstanding intonation. Reversible design allows six different, quickly-available tones.
Star Series- Exceptionally resonant & free playing, with extremely accurate intonation.
Platinum- Superbly fluid, with great clarity & "Ring"

What are Rovner ligatures made out of?
Rovner ligatures are meant to last: They are all produced with specifically designed fabric which will neither stretch nor rot. In addition all of our Metal fittings are made from corrosion resistant materials.
Platinum ligature- Made from a special space aged metal
What is a trial period?
We believe the player deserves to try our products where they are most comfortable, to experiment in different situations. If ligatures or the TurboCharger Kit are ordered from Rovner directly, and returned in good condition, we will honor a ten-day money back guarantee trial period. The same offer applies to Rovner mouthpieces, for a fifteen-day trial.
How are your products priced and where can I order my Rovner?
All of our list prices are displayed throughout the website, with the corresponding merchandise.
We do offer a convenient internet ordering system. Simply add items to the cart as you browse, then add payment information at checkout. Orders are shipped via the US Postal Service: please allow adequate time for delivery.

How much is International Shipping?
The shopping cart will automatically add $17.50 US to cover additional expenses on all orders shipped outside of the United States.
Are any accessories included in the price of your products?
Ligatures: All ligatures excluding the Star Series include a Rovner cap.
Mouthpieces: All Rovner mouthpieces are fitted with our new StarSeries ligature and cap. Deep-V and Eagle model mouthpieces include a Rovner mouthpiece robe.
